We also recommend that you install the latest version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer, no matter how you connect to your processor. Some processors require Internet Explorer version 6 or later to be installed in order to process transactions. Internet Explorer is more than just an Internet browser; it actually upgrades your operating system.

The basic PCCharge Express package includes the ability to add either one or five merchant numbers. There may be a fee to upgrade from the "single merchant number" version of PCCharge Express to the "multiple merchant number" version.

SSL Requirements

Depending on your payment processing company, connection type, and operating system, you may need to install some upgrades/enhancements to your operating system. Some processing companies are beginning to process transactions via SSL2 (a highly secure Internet protocol).
